We are committed to using the Socratic method in our mentoring. Although we are not perfect at using this, the goal is to teach with questions not answers. So when we are working on something together we strive to ask questions to help you discover the answer rather than offering an answer ourselves. This way the answer is yours alone and you decide how you want to solve problems. We are happy to offer advice but only when its asked for.
We usually start by asking about your target customer, what problem you are solving that people need solved, what your goals are for launch date, first and fifth year revenue. You may not know the answers but its a good place to start. The more we know about where you want to go, the better we can help you fashion a route to get there. Launching a lifestyle company is different from launching a company intended to scale to $100m in revenue some day. We are able to offer you the option of a free hour of mentoring a month, or for select clients a fractional CFO role to get you through your seed funding round.
